Amelia Bedelia Goes Back to School

I just read a whole bunch of entries from a couple of years ago, geez. I used to use some pretty great vocabulary, but overall my writing still has the same "this is how I'd say it if I were actually talking" aura about it.

The truth is, I just got back from NYC yesterday. I bought a great shirt for Anthony at Urban Outfitters. I still need a Christmas present for Misha. You know, concidering Christmas has passed, you might think that I would have something for him and given it to him already, but that's just not true.

There was this great sweatshirt/jackety thing at YRB in New York, oh man. It was all rainbows and buttons and pandabears and cuteness. It was also eighty dollars. Bah. Oh yeah, and that stupid Gwen Stefani clothing line, they have some pretty cute things too but you know what, she's a rockstar and she needs more money for she is decending into poverty, so lets make things real expensive. She's lucky I totally want her, or I'd, like, avoid her like the plague.

I got one of those electric Japanese dictionaries for Christmas! In it it has... and English-Japanese dictonary, Japanese-English dictionary, English-English, Japanese-Japanese, Thesauri for both languages, Kanji dictionary, dictionary of Collocations (both languages), and a concise Katakana dictionary. Oh man. I just love it. My host brother in Japan had one and I'd spend all my time at the electronic stores in Japan looking at them. Yay.
The English-Japanese part has every word in the world. I looked up "Holden Caulfield" and it was in there. Frickin awesome.

I need some new CDs. Rilo Kiley. Mmmmm.
